Full Job Description
The Senior Product Readiness Manager is the point person for understanding and driving readiness of change that is occurring within Workiva AI and Data Management and explaining that impact within CPX and the roles within the org. This role plans, monitors, and documents all progress of the AI and Data Management launch program and ingestion of change to include into ongoing training programs.

The Senior Product Readiness Manager develops and maintains internal team processes focused on enabling peers, improving operational efficiency, and achieving company, regional, and team goals. Responsible for highly complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation, analysis, collaboration, innovation, problem solving, judgment, decision making and influencing others. Interprets, evaluates, communicates and provides input to company and department policies. Well versed in AI and data management frameworks, regulatory parameters and participates in ensuring compliance.

What You'll Do

Strategic Launch Management
  • Responsible for the Launch from discovery to six months post general availability to completion
  • Leads CPX teams and is responsible for holding the team accountable to timelines, and deliverables
  • Manages launch documentation and reporting. Also responsible for the creation of documentation and reporting templates as needed
  • Communicates potential delays and estimated timelines to all stakeholders
  • Communicates and manages launch scope, risks, issues, strategic milestones, deliverables and issues effectively to CPX Stakeholders and Director. Forecasts project needs and resources well in advance
  • Stays in constant contact with the CPX Stakeholders to ensure the launch is on track and communicates progress on a consistent basis
  • Responsible for providing appropriate forecast related project timelines, services, and resources well in advance, ensuring communication to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensures CPX Stakeholders are fully enabled when the launch is in Limited Availability and progressing to General Availability. Post General Availability, maintains a high level oversight to adjustments as needed


Team member development
  • May act as the first line of escalation for team members by exercising considerable judgment and discretion. Acts as a key contributor to Launch Management knowledge base development for AI and Data Management


Practice and Process development
  • Leads development and delivery of internal training and enablement, creates and analyzes reporting, and develops best practices for assigned areas
  • Drives Launch Management process improvements by identifying project gaps, gathering stakeholder input, and producing/refining documentation
  • Consults with cross-functional teams to ensure all are aligned
  • Collaborates with leadership on direction, expectations and timeline; the individual operates independently to deliver on objectives


What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education, computer science, and experience in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience required


Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer-facing experience preferred
  • Prince2, PMP , or other PM certification preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity
  • Strong project management and time management skills are a must
  • Strategic in approach: understands and addresses inter-dependencies and real issue
  • Ability to manage troubled teams/projects and bring them to success
  • Ability to translate organization vision into a project vision
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision, both written and verbally
  • Ability to influence decisions that need to be made to make the project successful
  • Ability to recognize resistance and overcome it. Thinking of opportunities instead of barriers
  • Proven ability to evaluate, adopt, and apply AI investments across leading enterprise tools (Claude, Gemini, NotebookLM) to accelerate outcomes in SaaS-based workflows


Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
  • Up to 25% Travel
  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office


How You'll Be Rewarded
• Salary range in the US: $106,000.00 - $172,000.00
• A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
• Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
• 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
