Job Description

The Business Analyst II supports the Anti-Fraud Analytics Business Operations team by helping drive process improvement, business intelligence, product development support, sales and customer engagement efforts, and employee experience programs. This role works across business, product, sales, customer-facing, and operational teams to document needs, analyze information, improve workflows, develop reporting, and support execution of cross-functional initiatives.

The position requires a strong combination of analytical thinking, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. The Business Analyst II will help translate business needs into clear documentation, dashboards, project updates, process improvements, and actionable recommendations that support operational effectiveness and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Support process improvement initiatives by documenting current-state workflows, identifying gaps or inefficiencies, and helping define future-state recommendations.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify needs, document decisions, and support execution of operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and executive-ready summaries that provide clear insight into team performance, trends, and progress.
  • Support the product development team by assisting with business analysis, documentation, operational readiness, stakeholder coordination, and follow-up on product-related initiatives.
  • Support sales and customer engagement efforts by helping prepare materials, gather information, summarize customer needs, and coordinate follow-up across internal teams.
  • Manage and support employee experience programs, including onboarding, training coordination, intern program support, team engagement activities, and related communications.
  • Use tools such as Power BI, JIRA, Excel, PowerPoint, and other workflow or reporting platforms to track work, analyze data, and communicate progress.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and audience-appropriate documentation, including process maps, business summaries, presentations, dashboards, meeting notes, project updates, and leadership-ready materials.
  • Collaborate across business operations, product, sales, customer success, analytics, and other teams to support shared goals and improve visibility across initiatives.
  • Help measure progress against business goals by identifying useful metrics, tracking outcomes, and providing insights or recommendations based on available data.

  • Ability to support innovation by identifying new ideas, improving existing processes, and helping implement practical improvements within the team.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment and adjust to shifting business priorities, assignments, and stakeholder needs.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting product development, sales enablement, customer engagement, business operations, or employee experience initiatives.
  • Experience with operational analytics, data interpretation, dashboard development, or process documentation.
  • Experience working in insurance, fraud detection, claims, analytics, or a related business environment.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives that require coordination across business, technical, product, or customer-facing teams.
  • Familiarity with documenting workflows, business requirements, project updates, executive summaries, or leadership presentations.
