Senior Analyst - Projects & Strategy (Lending)

Overview

Contribute to strategy, problem-solving, and execution.
  • We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Lending team. In this role, you will support the delivery of high-impact initiatives that drive growth, improve processes, and enhance customer experience.
  • This role is suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and bringing structure to complex issues. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners and gain exposure to how strategy is developed and executed across the business.


Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution
  • Support the delivery of projects from planning through implementation, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Create and maintain project plans, documentation, and status updates.
  • Track progress, identify risks, and support the development of practical solutions.


Analysis & Problem Solving
  • Analyze data and processes to generate insights and identify opportunities.
  • Break down complex problems into clear, structured components.
  • Make recommendations to improve performance and efficiency.


Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with teams across Product, Technology, Risk, and Operations to coordinate project activities.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Operational Excellence teams to ensure compliant project execution.
  • Build strong working relationships and communicate updates clearly to stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentations and materials for project updates and recommendations.


Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
  • Support initiatives that enhance project management practices and team effectiveness.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Early professional experience (2+years) in project management, strategy, or analytics is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with AI tools Top of Form Bottom of Form.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Amex products and platforms is a plus.
