What will your typical day look like?As part of the Secure Design team, you will help drive Deloitte's Secure System Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) processes, ensuring cybersecurity requirements are embedded throughout the lifecycle of business applications and technology initiatives. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders while helping advance innovative AI initiatives that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Secure Design services.
Key responsibilities include:
SSDLC Operations- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end SSDLC process for assigned business applications and technology initiatives.
- Support Secure Design Manager for Enabling Areas in conducting cybersecurity design reviews and security assessments to ensure applications meet cybersecurity standards, policies and control requirements.
- Track SSDLC reviews, actions, exceptions and remediation activities, ensuring timely progression through governance processes.
- Work with business and technology teams to provide guidance on secure design principles and SSDLC requirements throughout the application lifecycle.
- Support risk-based decision making by identifying security risks, documenting findings and tracking mitigation activities.
Stakeholder Engagement - Build effective working relationships with business, technology and cybersecurity stakeholders across Enabling Areas.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for SSDLC-related activities, helping stakeholders understand cybersecurity requirements and governance expectations.
- Facilitate discussions between delivery teams and cybersecurity specialists to ensure security requirements are understood, practical and embedded early in projects.
Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve Secure Design processes, increase efficiency and enhance the stakeholder experience.
- Support the development and maintenance of process documentation, standards, guidance and operating procedures.
AI Innovation & Enablement - Contribute to the Secure Design AI programme by identifying opportunities to leverage AI to improve cyber review processes and team productivity.
- Support the evaluation, development and deployment of AI-driven solutions that enhance Secure Design operations.
- Assist in the governance and assessment of AI-enabled solutions within SSDLC processes, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity and risk management requirements.
- Analyse emerging AI technologies, trends and risks, providing insights that support Secure Design strategy and decision making.

Enough about us, let's talk about youQualificationsRequired:- Experience supporting SSDLC, software development, IT governance, cybersecurity reviews or related risk management activities.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, including secure design, risk management and application security concepts.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern application architectures.
- Knowledge of AI technologies and their practical application within cybersecurity and business processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Ability to communicate complex technical and security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
Preferred: - Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and DevOps.
- Degree in cybersecurity or equivalent.
- Cybersecurity professional qualification such as CISSP or equivalent.
Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $69,000 - $114,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
