Role Overview:The SAP MM Data Consultant will partner with IT and SME resources to represent Master Data Management (MDM) and resolve data and design gaps. This role involves leading local contacts through data mapping, discovery, and transformation, as well as leveraging technical expertise to load and verify master data within the SAP environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with IT and SME resources to identify and resolve data and design gaps.
- Lead local contacts through Data Mapping, Discovery, and Transformation.
- Leverage technical expertise to load and verify master data.
- Apply MDM governance rules and concepts to project work.
- Provide coaching and detailed knowledge transfer to key business partners.
- Deliver training to educate local data analysts, business process owners, and stakeholders on data quality and governance.
- Develop and refine global data documentation including SOPs, Transaction Aids, and Job Aids.
- Provide expert support to affiliates, sites, and outsourced business partners by performing manual entry and mass loads of data into the SAP Production environment.
- Cross-train and share daily production support workload with other data analysts.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and IT to resolve business problems.
Required Skills:- Experience in SAP MM modules with a strong understanding of data fields and design.
- 2+ full cycle SAP MM Implementations.
- Experience with SAP MM data implementation (Material Management, PP, etc.).
- SAP ERP Materials Management (MM).
Preferred Skills:- Good understanding of SAP MM integration with PP, QM, SD, and FI modules.
- Knowledge of SAP Supply chain data design.
- Experience with SAP MDM/MDG and Syniti DSP.
