The Sales Manager will own complex sales opportunities from initial engagement through quotation, commercial negotiation, order execution, shipment, and deployment, while maintaining end-to-end visibility, proactively monitoring execution, identifying risks early, and resolving issues quickly as they arise. This position requires close collaboration with customers, channel partners, and cross-functional Supermicro teams including Engineering, Product Management, Finance, Credit, Operations, Logistics, Programs, and Compliance. The ideal candidate is highly customer-focused, results-driven, comfortable managing multiple high-value opportunities simultaneously, and capable of maintaining strong execution in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop new strategic customers and expand existing accounts across AI/HPC, cloud, data center, enterprise, government, and emerging technology markets.
• Manage relationships with end users, system integrators, VARs, OEMs, distributors, and other channel partners.
• Identify, qualify, and develop large infrastructure opportunities, including GPU, AI server, rack-scale, storage, networking, and data-center deployments.
• Own opportunities through configuration, quotation, pricing, commercial negotiation, order placement, allocation, shipment, and deployment.
• Maintain an overall view of customer projects and actively monitor execution across multiple internal organizations to ensure commitments, schedules, and customer expectations remain aligned.
• Identify potential roadblocks early, coordinate corrective actions, and resolve issues in real time to keep opportunities and customer deployments moving forward.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, revenue projections, customer demand, and shipment schedules.

Coordinate closely with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Finance, Credit, Logistics, Compliance, and other internal organizations to resolve issues and meet customer requirements.
• Support customer and transaction compliance requirements, including documentation and internal approvals for applicable high-value or GPU-related opportunities.
• Monitor inventory, lead times, product transitions, and supply constraints, and communicate potential risks and alternatives to customers.
• Manage pricing discussions, commercial terms, credit issues, returns, and customer escalations as required.
• Develop strong relationships with customer executives, technical teams, procurement organizations, and channel partners.
• Provide regular account, opportunity, forecast, and business-status reports to management.
• Consistently achieve or exceed assigned revenue, margin, pipeline, and strategic-account objectives.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in server, data-center, enterprise infrastructure, or technology sales preferred.
• Experience selling servers, AI/GPU systems, HPC, storage, networking, or data-center infrastructure strongly preferred.
• Experience working with channel partners, system integrators, VARs, OEMs, and enterprise end users.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex, multi-stage sales opportunities.

• Strong commercial, negotiation, problem-solving, and customer-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, changing priorities, supply constraints, and customer escalations.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate across technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
• Experience maintaining CRM/pipeline data, forecasts, and management reporting.
