Full Job Description
About the role:

Commissions are one of the most consequential things Revenue Operations owns. Every month and every quarter, the entire go-to-market organization is paid based on numbers we run - and the person who gets them right, on time, and clearly explained earns the trust of the whole field.

We're looking for a Revenue Operations Manager to own that process end to end. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role with real ownership from day one. You'll run the full commissions payout cycle - monthly and quarterly - administer our commissions platform, safeguard the data behind every payout, and be the go-to for anyone with a question about how they were paid. And because you'll own the whole process, you'll have the room to improve it: you'll look for ways to make it faster and cleaner, and you'll use AI to take the repetitive work off your plate, so your time goes to the parts that need real judgment. If you like the idea of taking something important and making it run well, this role is for you.

This role will be located out of our Seattle / Bellevue office, working closely with the team in New York and stakeholders in other international locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the commissions payout cycle. Run calculation, validation, approvals, and on-time payout for both the monthly and quarterly cycles, end to end, in partnership with Finance and Payroll.
  • Master CaptivateIQ. Be the owner and administrator of our ICM platform - configuring and maintaining plans, rules, rates, and data feeds, and keeping it the single source of truth for everything commissions-related.
  • Safeguard data integrity. Reconcile inputs across Salesforce, Looker, BambooHR, and CaptivateIQ so every payout is accurate, traceable, and audit-ready. When the numbers don't tie out, you find out why.
  • Be the go-to for the field. Handle commission inquiries, disputes, and adjustments with clarity and speed, and help reps and managers understand exactly how they're paid.
  • Continuously improve the process. Treat "the way it's always been done" as a starting point, not an answer. Constantly look for ways to make the cycle faster, cleaner, and less manual.
  • Put AI to work. Use AI to automate the lower-value, repetitive parts of the job - data prep, reconciliation, routine inquiry handling - so the time you spend is on analysis and judgment, not copy-paste.
  • Support comp plan rollout. Partner with RevOps and Finance on plan design, modeling, and clean implementation each planning cycle.
  • Report on commissions. Give leadership clear, trustworthy visibility into commission spend and attainment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in sales compensation / commissions administration, sales/GTM operations, RevOps, or FP&A - ideally in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on mastery of CaptivateIQ (or a comparable ICM tool, such as Qobra), including plan configuration and day-to-day administration.
  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills; comfortable working with large data sets, CRM and BI tool data (Salesforce & Looker).
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, with a track record of hitting payout deadlines without exception.
  • A genuine process-improvement instinct - you're never quite satisfied with the current state and you enjoy making things run better.
  • Real fluency with AI tools and a habit of reaching for them to automate repetitive work.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, and the judgment to handle sensitive compensation conversations discreetly.
  • Fluency in English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with RevOps/GTM metrics, comp plan design, and partnering with FP&A.
