Revenue Strategy Analyst to join our team in
Tacoma, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance or accounting professional who enjoys turning complex data into strategic business recommendations that drive
profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term growth.
This position offers a
hybrid work schedule, with the flexibility to
work remotely on Mondays and Fridays for the foreseeable future and work onsite Tuesday through Thursday at our Tacoma facility.
What You'll DoAs a
Revenue Strategy Analyst, you will serve as a key business partner to operational and executive leadership by providing financial analysis and decision support that helps maximize
revenue, profitability, and strategic growth. You will analyze performance across customers, lanes, and business operations while evaluating new opportunities and identifying strategies to improve financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures.
- Analyze historical revenue, operational costs, and profitability performance across customers, lanes, and business segments.
- Calculate and evaluate operating ratios, contribution margins, and key business performance metrics.
- Assess prospective business opportunities and customer proposals by developing financial models and profitability analyses.
- Prepare cost and revenue projections to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct Return on Investment (ROI) and Net Present Value (NPV) analyses.
- Provide ad hoc financial and operational analysis to support leaders across the organization.
- Monitor industry trends, economic conditions, market developments, and competitive activity that may impact business performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve yield, operational efficiency, and overall profitability.
- Develop clear and concise reports, dashboards, and recommendations for management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Ability to interpret large datasets and communicate findings to both financial and operational stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Professional accounting designation such as CPA or CMA.
- Experience supporting transportation, logistics, supply chain, or operational businesses.
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools.
Compensation- Competitive annual salary range: $85,600 - $137,000
- Compensation will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, and specific job duties.
