Full Job Description
Job Title: RN - Wound, Ostomy & Continence
Location: Sarnia and London, ON
Schedule: Full-Time
Weekdays: Monday to Friday
Hourly Rate of Pay: $48.50 to $56.50


Carecor is seeking passionate and caring Registered Nurses specializing in Wound, Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC) to join our exceptional team of professionals. Our nurses are dedicated to delivering high-quality care while ensuring every client is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. As a valued member of our team, you will use your clinical expertise and sound judgment to ensure clients receive the highest standard of care they deserve.

Area of Work: Successful candidates will be seeing clients in the City of Sarnia and Lambton County, and surrounding areas. Virtual visits might be expected to be made if appropriate.

Availability: Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional work outside of these hours may be required at the request of your supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive wound, ostomy, and continence assessments and develop individualized care plans for clients in the community.
  • Deliver advanced wound care treatments, including debridement, according to clinical best practices and organizational protocols.
  • Educate clients, families, and caregivers on wound care management, prevention strategies, and proper use of supplies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate client care and ensure continuity across care settings.
  • Monitor client progress, document clinical findings, and update care plans as needed.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of wound care programs and best-practice initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation following professional and regulatory standards.
  • Travel to client homes or facilities using a reliable vehicle, ensuring safe and timely service delivery.
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements, including maintaining current certifications.
