Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports To: Regional Director, Sales & Marketing
Position Summary: The Regional Marketing Manager role will support social, digital and PR efforts for the collection of independent hotels in New York City. The position will report directly to the Regional Director, Sales & Marketing, with oversight from the corporate marketing partners, and work closely with Sales, Revenue Management and Operations to ensure that all marketing initiatives are aligned and impactful. We are looking for a bold, creative, data-savvy marketing leader who can blend each hotel's unique storytelling through visual content and with analytical precision. This role helps connect strategy to execution by supporting the hotels' initiatives, maintaining strong brand storytelling and ensuring marketing efforts are delivered consistently and effectively.
Job Duties and Functions - Develop and manage property-specific social media content calendars aligned with each hotel's brand positioning, promotions, events, and business priorities.
- Establish and maintain a distinct voice, visual identity, content strategy, and storytelling approach for each hotel.
- Visit properties regularly to capture original photography and video featuring guestrooms, F&B, amenities, events, neighborhoods, team members, guests, and local experiences.
- Concept, film, edit, and publish short-form content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and other relevant social platforms.
- Develop promotional content supporting hotel packages, offers, activations, events, and revenue-driving campaigns.
- Manage social community engagement and coordinate influencer, creator, and local partnership opportunities and requests.
- Maintain an organized digital asset library of photography, raw footage, edited content, campaign creative, and reusable assets for each property.
- Maintain hotel website content, including offers, packages, F&B, events, destination content, imagery, landing pages, and seasonal messaging, ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.
- Coordinate with website vendors, booking engine providers, brand teams, and internal stakeholders on digital updates and enhancements.
- Support SEO through optimized website copy, metadata, imagery, and relevant local and destination content.
- Partner with Revenue Management, Sales, Operations, and hotel leadership to develop packages, seasonal promotions, need-period offers, F&B initiatives, and experiences that drive direct bookings and ancillary revenue.
- Support email marketing, digital campaigns, promotional rollouts, and related creative needs.
- Monitor social and digital performance, including engagement, reach, audience growth, campaign results, and top-performing content.
- Provide monthly performance reporting with key insights, learnings, and actionable recommendations for optimization.
- Stay current on social trends, platform changes, emerging content formats, visual trends, and hospitality marketing best practices.
- Own the end-to-end content creation process, including concepting, filming, photography, editing, copywriting, publishing, and ongoing content management.
- Serve as the primary hands-on content resource for assigned hotels, leveraging original property-specific content rather than relying primarily on stock or existing assets.
- Manage multiple hotel platforms, websites, campaigns, and deliverables concurrently while maintaining established timelines and brand standards.
Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge - 3+ years of experience in hospitality, lifestyle, or brand marketing, ideally within hotels, restaurants, luxury, travel, or real estate.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in social media management, digital marketing, and content production, including photography, videography, editing, copywriting, and publishing.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form social content personally conceptualized, filmed, and edited.
- Proven experience managing social and digital platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube/Shorts, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profiles.
- Proficiency with relevant creative and marketing tools, such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, and Revinate.
- Strong visual storytelling skills with the ability to create both polished brand content and authentic, in-the-moment content across hospitality, lifestyle, F&B, and destination experiences.
- Experience managing and updating websites, CMS platforms, landing pages, digital offers, and other web content.
- Working knowledge of SEO, email marketing, paid social, influencer marketing, and digital campaign execution.
- Understanding of hotel revenue strategy, including need periods, packages, promotions, direct booking initiatives, and how marketing can support commercial performance.
- Strong understanding of social and digital marketing as drivers of brand awareness, engagement, direct bookings, and revenue growth.
- Ability to independently manage content development from concept through execution while maintaining established brand standards.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple properties, platforms, campaigns, approvals, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize competing business needs while maintaining consistency, quality, and attention to detail across a multi-property portfolio.
- Ability to work on location throughout New York City and visit assigned hotel properties regularly.
- Working knowledge of current social platforms, content formats, digital marketing trends, and hospitality marketing best practices.
