Summary :

The Project Manager will work closely with the Sr. PM, customer, contractors, and vendors to support creation of a project management office in accordance with principles of the PMI PmBok. Candidate will help define business requirements, develop management and risk plans and provide planning and oversight of multiple IT related projects. Candidate must possess excellent leadership and organizational skills, must be an effective communicator and comfortable managing consultancy relationships with C-Level stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee projects providing oversight, technical, and schedule management to the program and project teams
  • Develop plan of action including schedule, resources, and work plan
  • Oversee the project impacts and interdependencies between programs
  • Assist IT Leadership in performing needs analysis of the relevant business areas aligning needs to ensure appropriate solutions are quickly integrated
  • Monitor and assess project risks, their implication to the organization/project, recommend mitigating measures, and establish contingency plans
  • Manage development of program-level schedules to integrate efforts effectively
  • Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders, interfacing and communicating regularly
  • Implement established policies, system monitors and controls to ensure the successful management and reporting of all initiatives
  • Translate generalized customer business goals and objectives into concrete strategy and tactical plans
  • Report on status, risks, issues, and budget in weekly and monthly status meetings
  • Integrate change management and change control practices into program as required

Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver an enterprise wide Enterprise Resource Planning system
  • Demonstrated proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, 365, and SharePoint
  • Ability to manage, schedule, and organize all aspects of a project
  • Experience with Oracle preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Strong communication skills
