Full Job Description
HeiTech Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a federal information technology program within a structured Project Management Office (PMO) environment. The Project Manager will oversee multiple IT projects of varying size and complexity, including enterprise-level initiatives, and will be responsible for keeping project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, changes, deliverables, and stakeholder communications aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

The Project Manager will apply established project management and Agile methodologies to plan and coordinate project activities, monitor performance, maintain required documentation, and provide clear status reporting to program leadership and stakeholders. This position requires strong organization, communication, risk management, and leadership skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced federal IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, budgets, action items, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Coordinate project activities among technical teams, business stakeholders, leadership, and other project participants.
  • Monitor project performance and identify schedule, cost, resource, scope, or delivery risks requiring corrective action.
  • Prepare project status reports, dashboards, briefings, meeting materials, and other required documentation.
  • Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
  • Maintain accurate and current project documentation in accordance with established PMO standards and governance processes.
  • Support project intake, prioritization, planning, internal reviews, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement.
  • Apply appropriate Agile, traditional, or hybrid project management practices based on project requirements.
  • Ensure project activities remain aligned with approved scope, schedule, budget, technical requirements, and organizational priorities.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, computer science, management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing information technology projects.
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Agile certification or demonstrated formal training in Agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a structured PMO or comparable project governance environment.• Demonstrated experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, changes, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Experience preparing project documentation, status reports, executive briefings, and stakeholder communications.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and lifecycle processes.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, project leadership, and senior management.
  • Must be a US Citizen and ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust

Compensation & Benefits
  • Compensation: $125,000-$145,000
