What You’ll Get to Do

For this Project Operations position, you will be responsible for the overall management of the specific projects under the task order and ensure that the technical/financial solutions and schedules in the specific delivery orders are implemented in a timely manner.

You will be responsible for the organization, direction and coordination planning and execution of all activities associated with assigned delivery order projects on IAC MAC Task Orders.

You will demonstrate competent writing and oral communication skills

You will also ensure quality products and services are delivered to the customer.

Responsibilities:

CACI seeks talented Project Managers to join our Mission Support and Engineering Services group.

  • Your overall primary job responsibility consists of project oversight, management, and execution to the Program Manager.

  • The selected individual must be a self-starter, capable of working with minimal oversight and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Gathering and distributing information to subcontractors and service providers, through initiating, preparing, reviewing, and tracking RFI’s, and receiving, reviewing, submitting and tracking status of submittals.

  • Assist in preparation of monthly owner project status reports, as required.

  • Attend project meetings as assigned.

  • Project coordination and Document Control.

  • Assist in project close out.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between CACI and the DoD customer for assigned project(s), providing project and technical guidance, managing technical staff and provide financial management for assigned project(s).

  • Responsible for the acquisition of services, materials and supplies for assigned projects.

  • Working with the program manager, and financial and procurement team, perform market research analysis of materials and resources, develop and revise rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates, and provide current and historical data for the acquisition of goods and services. 

  • Supporting the program manager, identify project requirements including justification write-ups, sole-source recommendations and technical evaluations, and maintain records of purchased materials and services by tracking purchase date, lead time and cost, and providing monthly reports to the customer.

  • Closely monitor project team, performance, to include vendors, to ensure that materials and parts will be delivered on time and that the end product will meet customer needs.

  • Collaborate with program manager to achieve socioeconomic goals by contracting small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned companies and disadvantaged business firms where practical.

  • Responsible for the technical performance of assigned project(s) while assuring product delivery to the customer in accordance with budget and schedule requirements.

  • Monitor and maintain vendor performance related to quality, scheduling, planning and acquisition strategy by compiling an up-to-date vendor list, with qualified processes and technical skills and abilities.

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM major or business/accounting

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a position requiring project management and program operations expertise

  • Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance

  • Excellent technical writing and data presentation skills

  • Track record of complex problem-solving aptitude

  • Ability to think analytically and independently

  • Team orientation

  • Excellent problem-solving skills


Desired:

  • Experience in a project/program management position working with NUWC. USSOCOM and/or other IAC MAC customers

  • Experience in DoD customer relations and project management

  • Experience as Program/Project Manager on an IAC MAC contract

  • Active minimum Secret clearance

  • PMP

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
