The Opportunity

What could TMU accomplish if its people, structures, and ways of working were designed for what the University needs next?

As the Project Director, Transformation and Organizational Effectiveness, you'll lead some of TMU's most complex, high-visibility and strategically important transformation initiatives using the Target Operating Model (TOM) Architecture helping the University translate vision into meaningful organizational change.

You'll partner with senior leaders to shape operating models, organizational structures, and workforce strategies that enable TMU to work more effectively, adapt to change, and deliver on its strategic priorities. You'll bring a combination of strategic thinking, organizational expertise, and strong project leadership to challenges that have an institution-wide impact.

You'll lead enterprise HR transformation and organizational effectiveness initiatives from strategy through implementation, navigating complexity across functions, stakeholders, and organizational boundaries. You'll establish the governance, frameworks, methodologies, and tools needed to bring structure to large-scale transformation while building the University's internal capability to sustain and advance this work over time.

As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you'll help translate broad strategic priorities into practical organizational solutions by asking the difficult questions, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping leaders make informed decisions about how work, people, and resources should come together. You'll also lead cross-functional teams, manage resources and competing priorities, and create the conditions for successful and sustainable change.

This is an opportunity to help shape how one of Canada's leading universities works, evolves, and prepares for its future. Your work will extend beyond individual projects: you'll help build more effective structures, stronger organizational capabilities, and scalable ways of working that enable TMU to achieve more.

If you're energized by complex institutional challenges, thrive when working with senior leaders, and are motivated by the opportunity to turn strategy into lasting organizational impact, this is a chance to play a defining role in TMU's transformation journey.
