Full Job Description
You Are:

We are seeking a Program Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of secure cloud platform capabilities supporting an Air Force program at Eglin AFB. This role owns program execution, client relationships, and delivery outcomes - serving as the primary interface between government stakeholders and a growing delivery team of engineers, architects, and agile practitioners. This is a builder's role. You will shape delivery processes, establish governance rhythms, and grow the program as mission demand expands. The ideal candidate combines program management discipline with a consultative, relationship-first approach that differentiates delivery from traditional contractor execution.

The Work:
  • Own program delivery from planning through execution: scope, schedule, staffing, risk, and financial performance
  • Serve as primary client liaison to government program leadership, building trust through consistent, transparent, outcome-focused engagement
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams operating in a SAFe Lean-Agile model with 2-week sprints, MBSE, and DevSecOps practices
  • Establish and enforce delivery standards: quality gates, documentation discipline, and audit-ready compliance artifacts
  • Navigate federal acquisition and security requirements (FAR, NIST, DoD security frameworks) while maintaining delivery momentum
  • Manage contract deliverables, status reporting, program reviews, and government stakeholder communications
  • Identify and shape program growth opportunities, translating emerging mission needs into scoped, executable work
  • Develop team members through clear expectations, ownership-based accountability, and structured performance feedback

Here's What You Need:
  • 7+ years of program/project management experience, including 3+ years in DoD or federal contracting environments
  • Demonstrated success leading agile software or cloud delivery teams (SAFe, Scrum, or equivalent)
  • Experience managing government client relationships at the program leadership level
  • Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure delivery, DevSecOps concepts, and federal security frameworks (NIST RMF, STIG, ATO processes) at a program management level
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field - PMP or SAFe certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

Bonus Points If:
  • Experience delivering in highly regulated, security-sensitive government environments
  • Prior Air Force program support experience - Experience growing a program from initial award through expansion
  • Familiarity with MBSE and earned value management

Who Thrives Here:

You take extreme ownership of mission outcomes. You communicate with equal confidence to engineers, government clients, and executives. You treat documentation and compliance as operational disciplines, not overhead. You think ahead of the program's current state and have the judgment to challenge the status quo constructively.
