Job Description:

Primarily responsible for the Agile flow methodology of the entire team.

The work you'll do:

Leads daily scrums and holds team members accountable for work, capturing updates in JIRA and Confluence to reflect progress and dependencies. Secondarily reports to the leadership team of PM, Chief Engr, Tech Leads. Assists program leadership in the successful and timely delivery of all deliverables by monitoring and managing the Backlog or work. Proactively groom the backlog to simplify planning efforts. Lead TEMs to help the team break down work. Works with all team members in timely delivery of all CDRLs. Educates team on agile methodology (to include pointing) and supports client leadership during Agile processes, providing outbriefs of progress as well as plans. Responsible to the entire team for managing the list of roadblocks and impediments (if any), attempting to find resolutions for them working with leadership. Translate requirements into epics, features, and user stories. Provide scrum reports, capacity, velocity, and lead Program Increment Planning activities. Work with client PMO to establish milestones and MVIs to ensure goals from leadership align with contract work/deliverables. Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems. Support user acceptance testing. Help to automate and streamline activities and user stories in JIRA to create efficiencies and process improvement.

Here's what you'll need:
  • 4+ years of experience with the following:
    • Agile lifecycle and coordination of Scrums and other processes.
    • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
    • Use of tools used in agile / scrum programs, such as Jira and Confluence.
    • Development and maintenance of documentation, artifacts, and reports on sprints, epics, and milestones.

Security clearance:

Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance is required.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
