Full Job Description
Position Summary

The Production Administrator provides fundamental production logistical support for MPAP programs' year-round initiatives and projects, ensuring that advancing and performance logistics are executed efficiently and successfully. This production team member will facilitate the day-to-day operations of productions, which include productions for Vocal Performance,Educational Theatre, Drama Therapy, Dance Education, and other programs as assigned. They will collaborate closely with the Program Directors and Program Administrators as well as Directors and the Operations Manager to maintain all project timelines and budgets. This also includes scheduling and oversight of performances and rehearsals. This position will work as the primary production administrator for our season of productions. Working closely with the Program Directors and members of theatre operations teams,, they will also be deeply involved in season planning. This role will serve as liaison between programs and other departments, and help expand and deepen our local artist connections

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in theatre or related field

Required Experience:
3+ years experience in production; stage, concert, theater management ; administering budgets ; coordinating a large number of events; working knowledge of USA and URTA contracts

Preferred Experience:
1+ years experience as a production team member college, professional, off-Broadway or Broadway theater.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well in group problem-solving situations; able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather/analyze information skillfully. Computer literacy in Windows and Mac operating systems.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000.00 to USD $85,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
