We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to focus on go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and creating compelling content for Amazon WorkSpaces. You will combine marketing craft with product depth to define how WorkSpaces shows up in the market, create content that earns trust with technical and executive buyers, and drive launches that build preference and pipeline. WorkSpaces is entering its next chapter with significant investment in agentic workspaces, application streaming, and secure browser capabilities. This is a chance to shape the go-to-market strategy for a flagship end-user computing product at AWS.
About the Role
As a Product Marketing Manager for Amazon WorkSpaces, you will own go-to-market strategy and positioning for your area of the product portfolio, which spans WorkSpaces Personal, WorkSpaces Pools, WorkSpaces Applications, WorkSpaces Secure Browsers, and WorkSpaces for VDI Partners. Your job is to deeply understand the product capabilities, translate that into positioning and messaging that resonates with IT decision-makers, security leaders, and end-user computing teams, and bring that strategy to life through launches, content, and cross-functional GTM execution.
You will combine business ownership with hands-on product depth. You will deliver live demos, produce content that customers trust, and hold credible conversations with CIOs, IT directors, security architects, and desktop administrators. You will partner cross-functionally with product management, sales, solutions architecture, partner, and demand generation teams to drive execution from a shared strategy.
Key job responsibilities
Marketing Strategy: Own the marketing strategy for your product area in partnership with Product teams. Define the ideal customer profile, priority use cases (workforce modernization, secure remote access, BYOD enablement, application delivery, VDI migration), differentiated value proposition, and positioning. Map that strategy to how customers discover, evaluate, and buy.
Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop positioning, messaging, and storytelling for WorkSpaces across persistent desktops, pooled desktops, application streaming, and secure browsing. Serve as the domain authority on how your product area is positioned in market against Citrix, Omnissa (VMware), Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop, and other EUC solutions, ensuring consistency across all channels and customer touchpoints.
Content Creation: Create compelling content that earns trust with executive and technical buyers. Deliver live product demos, produce whitepapers, blog posts, solution briefs, TCO analyses, and presentations that connect WorkSpaces capabilities to customer outcomes like cost reduction, security posture improvement, and workforce agility.
Launch Strategy and Execution: Co-own launches with Product teams. Own marketing strategy and execution (positioning, messaging, channel activation, and post-launch measurement) and drive sustained programs that build preference beyond launch day.
Customer Engagement: Earn trust with technical B2B customers, from CIOs and CISOs to IT Operations leaders, through compelling storytelling that connects product capabilities to outcomes. Represent the product externally through executive briefings, live demos, and customer advisory discussions.
Competitive Analysis: Synthesize competitive dynamics, customer needs, and field signals to inform product and marketing strategy. Provide competitive context that helps Product teams prioritize what to build and helps Sales teams win against Citrix, Omnissa, Microsoft AVD, and other EUC competitors.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive prioritization across GTM teams on which use cases to lead with, which products to position together, and which customer segments to focus on. Partner with demand generation, events, partner, and field teams to ensure execution from a shared strategy.
Sales Enablement: Create sales enablement content (product narrative, first call decks, competitive talking points, and migration guides) as the category subject-matter expert. Partner with field enablement teams on distribution and delivery to the field.
