What you will enjoy doing*- You will take a hands-on approach to understand process and product capabilities and how they transfer to customer needs with focus markets of aerospace and energy
- You will collaborate with engineering, production and commercial to drive priorities and decision making for the product line.
- You will work at our main materials site part of a cross-functional team to ensure strategies and projects are aligned with the correct resources and market objectives.
- Further you will understand the product line marketplace, customer needs, technical alternatives, demand drivers, industry capacity, market share and competitor landscape
- You will actively contribute to product presentations, marketing materials and support the positioning of our products toward customers and internal stakeholders
- Additionally, you will utilize your technical skills and experience to engage with key internal and external stakeholders to drive decision-making
- You will manage product allocation, demand planning, scheduling, specifications, and related product data
- Drive performance improvements, overall product line health using KPIs, operational feedback, and structured lessons-learned processes
- Define and evolve the long-term product vision and roadmap for ceramics in-line with global business objectives, new product development (NPD), regional needs, and industry trends
What makes you great - You will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field required, with 5+ years of relevant professional experience preferred
- Technical aptitude or engineering background is beneficial but not required
- Background in materials with focus areas in aerospace and/or energy beneficial but not required
- Demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions and exercise strong judgment in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and meet business objectives
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% as required
- This role will be based in Indianapolis, IN and will be required to work on-site unless traveling. No remote work availability for this position
