Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Technology Manager that is passionate about providing useful, working software that will have a real impact on the way our bank does business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery and ongoing support of the On-Chain Orchestration And Integration Service Layers as part of the overall strategic solution for TD Tokenized Deposits Core Platform. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies to solve problems of scale and speed.
Responsibilities- Drive program success through product strategy, technical design and roadmap development
- Influence key decision makers for the overall product roadmap
- Manage the priorities for Change and Run the Bank activities
- Establish and manage Production Operations for the team: define and implement process and procedures to ensure stable, secure and sustainable product operations.
- Drive prospective systems design and lead technical approaches for implementing business requirements
- Explore new capabilities and technologies to drive innovation
- Work cohesively with team members to help advance technical and delivery skills
- Continually improve customer experience via product improvements and enhancements
Skills and QualificationsMust Have- 5+ years of experience leading technology teams
- 5+ years of experience with Objected Oriented Design and Programming
- 5+ years of software design, architecture and a deep understanding of system integration patterns
- 5+ years of experience developing resilient workflow-based software solutions with Java and Spring, ideally using Microsoft SAGA or similar architectural pattern approach
- Experience utilizing System Reliability Engineering in delivering high performance, highly resilient and available mission critical payments services
- Experience in delivering software in fast paced, AI assisted, work environment
- 5+ years of Web3 and DeFi services delivery experience, with demonstrated deep understanding of Blockchain & Tokenization Core concepts and integration patterns
- Deep understanding of smart contract programming and deployment: experience with Solidity, Rust, or Vyper development environments
- Prior experience with certifying and testing of smart contracts using OpenZeppelin, Slither, Mythril, Enchidna and Foundry
- Prior implementation and programmability extension experience with ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, and / or ERC-4626 smart contracts in permissioned and public blockchains.
- Deep understanding of low-level integration with permissioned Hyperledger Besu DLT network, or equivalent EVM compatible enterprise DLT platforms wrt monitoring, with the goal of monitoring and capturing underlying DLT events via JSON-RPC 2.0 and translating them into consumable JSON messages for the off-chain orchestration and integration layer upstream
- Prior experience of working with the 3rd party on-chain orchestration vendors / digital assets custody service providers (Quant, Anchorage, Kaleido, Consensys, Fireblcoks, etc)
- Deep understanding of ECC or RSA cryptography, integration patterns between DLT wallets and enterprise grade Key Management Systems (KMS) and HSM appliances for proper blockchain request signing and authorization, including raw signing, or Multi-Party-Computation (MPC) in authorizing mint, transfer, burn DLT operations
- Strong knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standard
- Experience managing vendor relationships
- Experience with synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns (RESTful APIs, MQ, Kafka, Batch)
- Experience managing and supporting a 24/7 mission critical payments system
- Experience with multiple delivery processes with a focus on Agile development methodologies
- A passion for simplifying and automating work, for making things better, for being efficient and helping others
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Exceptional communicator with strong written and oral communication skills
- Cloud platforms experience and related technologies (Dell VMC, Azure)
EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
