The Plant Manager III will oversee policies, procedures, and processes designed to minimize cost and maximize production. This role has responsibility for Profit & Loss (P&L), budget oversight, people & office management, and impacts strategic planning.
The selected candidate will develop and implement plans coordinated with the Corporate Business Plan to increase reliability and continually improve the quality and efficiency of the services provided by the business unit.

Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:Safety Sensitive Designation:This position has been identified as "safety sensitive" by thyssenkrupp under applicable laws. Export Control Requirement:This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon obtaining any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies. When export authorization is necessary, the length of time to obtain the authorization by the government is outside of the Company's control.
Experience & Education- 10 or more years Sr. Operations Leadership (Autonomous) experience with proven leadership qualities in 3PL Operations with P&L responsibility, Inspirational Leadership and World Class Processing Standards
- Bachelor's degree preferred (in a Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Behavioral Science curriculum)

Leadership & People Management- Must be a Hands-On Leader who is willing to learn all parts of the daily business and be comfortable with driving Change Management
- Hire, train and motivate warehouse employees to build bench strength and increase retention by scheduling and provide training for growth and compliance
- Ability to build an effective team as well as be an effective team member
- Perform employee Performance Management as required
Customer & Business/Strategy- Must have a high level of Customer/Business acumen as this site works directly with all levels of leadership with our key Customer
- Works daily with the customer onsite and helps define strategic view with customers to ensure alignment and the way forward for Operational Success.
- This is a position that works directly with the Teams onsite along with the Customer daily
- Assist in contract negotiations, where applicable
- Possesses ability to outline strategic initiatives for a 3-5-year outlook and help identify roadmap for achieving long term goals
- Supports Corporate with labor, OPX expenses and Capital requirements for new potential business opportunities
- Prepares and maintains plant budgets and focuses on OPEX improvements
- Attend regional and corporate meetings when required
Operations & Process Management- Manages day-to-day activity of site operations using SAP Warehouse Management System and available Production tools
- Ensure that organizational KPIs and CPIs are achieved and action plans are in place if not meeting goals
- Responsible for the Inventory Governance of the facility to include KPIs and Audits; both internal and external
- Develops and monitor operational site capacity for labor and storage to ensure operational readiness for current and new projects
- Promotes Continuous Improvement culture to drive Kaizens and process improvements through all areas of the day-to-day business; has a Process mindset that focuses on waste elimination
- Ensure that preventive and corrective action methods are followed to eliminate or correct procedures and practices which do not meet customer requirements
Safety/Compliance- Develop plans and procedures to ensure the safety of all employees and visitors of the warehouse and clarify and correct any incorrect warehouse procedures
- Ensure operations and all equipment onsite comply with corporate guidelines and OSHA Standards
- Safety Mindset
- Responsible for overall facility and maintaining security compliance for ITAR requirements
Skills & Technical Knowledge- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (including Project, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of Basic Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Working knowledge of labor relations, safety programs, ISO standards, and Sales function
