Your responsibilitiesPOSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for developing new rolled ring customers and for maintaining all ring customers in designated territories.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Responsible for designated ring territory KPI's that include territory order income total, new account leads, new opportunities, open opportunities, successful closure rate of open opportunities and total number of customer meetings, etc.
- Increase Ring Sales in territories.
- Work and expand an existing Ring Sales Independent Rep network.
- Develop new key account customers through networking with our global ring rolling manufacturing operating units.
- Create and maintain quotations in CRM.
- Report important customer and competitor information to Product Manager.
- Schedule and perform in person meetings with accounts and potential accounts.
- Review customer forging specifications and strong understanding of metal types, size limits and industry rules.
- Attend related trade shows.
- Report account changes and identify significant opportunities to establish synergies.
- Arrange own travel plans and accommodations in accordance with Corporate Travel Policy and guidelines. Travel requirement ~ 30 - 40%.
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Strong understanding of metal types, size limits, and industry rules. Must know carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and nickel base alloys and strong knowledge of ASTM, ASME, and AMS rules for quality.Must have the ability to read blueprints and engineered drawings.Forging, forming, and steel making knowledge.Must have the ability to engage customers effectively.Computers and Electronics - Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software, including applications.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.Minimum of 5-7 year's experience in rolled ring sales and 5-7 years of forging experience.EXPORT CONTROL: This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $110,000
