Job Summary
The Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer will support regulatory compliance systems and backend development within an Oracle environment. The role will focus on developing, enhancing, and optimizing Oracle PL/SQL code, supporting Unix-based development activities, building API and JSON integrations, and contributing to the design and implementation of mission-critical applications. The developer will work closely with technical teams on requirements, solution design, data integration, and business process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, enhance, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code for core regulatory applications.
• Work directly within Oracle databases and Unix environments to support development activities.
• Build and support API interfaces and JSON-based integrations.
• Utilize Oracle tools including DBMS Scheduler, database jobs, and Advanced Queuing.
• Participate in design discussions with internal and external technical teams.
• Support requirements gathering and contribute to design and solution discussions.
• Design and optimize algorithms supporting compliance and business processes.
• Support data movement and integration activities across specialized platforms.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle database development.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Familiarity with modern SQL features and SQL development best practices.
• Strong backend development experience within Oracle environments.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience creating or supporting API interfaces.
• Experience working with JSON-based integrations.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Git.
• Exposure to advanced Oracle packages.
• Experience supporting high-volume data processing.
