Job Summary
The Digital Product Manager will support the development, delivery, and continuous optimization of digital capabilities across an eCommerce platform. The role will focus on identifying opportunities to improve customer experience, merchandising and promotional engagement, pricing presentation, product discovery, conversion, and the overall Find, Decide, and Buy customer journey. The Digital Product Manager will work closely with Product, UX, Engineering, Analytics, Experimentation, and business teams to translate customer and business needs into prioritized digital solutions and measurable outcomes. The role requires a customer-centric and data-driven approach to product strategy, roadmap development, requirements, MVP delivery, experimentation, and continuous optimization.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess existing digital capabilities, customer experience challenges, product opportunities, and business priorities across the eCommerce platform.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve the digital customer experience across the Find, Decide, and Buy journey.
• Develop and maintain a prioritized digital product roadmap covering product strategies, initiatives, enhancements, and delivery activities.
• Identify and implement digital capabilities that improve merchandising opportunities, product discovery, promotional engagement, and conversion.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand pricing strategies and ensure pricing information is presented clearly and effectively within the eCommerce experience.
• Gather and incorporate Voice of the Customer insights into product strategy, prioritization, and experience improvements.
• Translate customer needs, business requirements, analytics, and product opportunities into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on customer impact, commercial value, technical feasibility, risk, and delivery effort.
• Apply quantitative and qualitative data to product prioritization and investment decisions.
• Work closely with Engineering teams to ensure product vision, requirements, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria are clearly understood and accurately implemented.
• Collaborate with UX teams and apply design-thinking principles to deliver intuitive and customer-centered digital experiences.
• Define and support delivery of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and continuously iterate based on customer feedback, analytics, experimentation, and product performance.
• Partner with Analytics and Experimentation teams to measure digital product performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and execute A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experimentation approaches to validate hypotheses, improve conversion funnels, and optimize customer experiences.
• Monitor product performance, customer behavior, conversion metrics, and experience KPIs to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities requiring action.
• Convert analytics, customer feedback, experimentation findings, and business insights into actionable product recommendations.
• Drive alignment across cross-functional and globally distributed stakeholders.
• Facilitate product decisions where customer, commercial, technical, organizational, and delivery priorities compete.
• Ensure digital experiences are appropriately designed and delivered across desktop, mobile, tablet, and relevant digital channels.
• Maintain product documentation, decisions, prioritization rationale, roadmaps, backlog status, and delivery progress.
• Support effective handover of roadmaps, product priorities, performance insights, recommendations, and supporting documentation at the completion of the engagement.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in Digital Product Management, preferably within B2B eCommerce or SaaS environments.
• 5+ years of experience managing digital products across the complete product lifecycle, including opportunity identification, discovery, product strategy, roadmap development, requirements definition, development, launch, measurement, and optimization.
• 3-5 years of strong eCommerce product management experience with an understanding of customer journeys, product discovery and search, conversion funnels, merchandising, promotions, pricing experiences, and checkout or purchase journeys.
• Strong customer-centric mindset with experience incorporating Voice of the Customer insights into product decisions.
• Ability to translate customer and business needs into product strategies, roadmaps, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery priorities.
• Strong data-driven decision-making skills using quantitative and qualitative information to prioritize opportunities and investments.
• Experience using product analytics, customer behavior data, conversion metrics, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Hands-on experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, experimentation, and conversion rate optimization.
• Strong experience collaborating with UX, Engineering, Analytics, Experimentation, Marketing, Commercial, and business stakeholders.
• Experience applying design-thinking and customer-centered design principles within digital product development.
• Experience defining, delivering, and optimizing MVPs through iterative product development.
• Strong understanding of Agile product development and delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing and prioritizing digital product backlogs.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within complex, matrixed, cross-functional, and globally distributed organizations.
• Ability to make clear product prioritization decisions where customer, commercial, technical, and organizational priorities compete.
• Experience developing digital experiences across multiple device types, including desktop, mobile, and tablet.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data and customer insights into actionable product improvements.
• Good understanding of modern web technologies and digital architectures, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience within Life Sciences, Healthcare, Medical Devices, regulated eCommerce, or similar regulated industries.
• Previous experience managing B2B digital commerce platforms.
• Experience supporting global websites, international applications, or digital products used across multiple geographies.
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise eCommerce ecosystems and globally distributed business and technology teams.
