Role Overview:This role focuses on the management, monitoring, and optimization of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Fusion applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, and troubleshooting cloud-native applications, ensuring high performance, availability, and security within the OCI ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on DevOps practices and observability.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot Oracle Fusion application performance and availability, specifically focusing on Customer, SCM, Financials, and Procurement modules.
- Set up Logging services utilizing log analytics, connector hub, and streaming.
- Develop and implement custom OCI dashboards for comprehensive monitoring.
- Manage and monitor Autonomous database systems.
- Perform SAAS (OIC and Fusion) monitoring.
- Integrate OCI logging with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, such as Google Secops.
- Test and create monitoring modules, enabling Application Performance Monitoring (APM) for Fusion, and providing necessary documentation for APM enablement in OCI.
- Enable APM for Fusion and create dashboards using external tools or systems.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines for Oracle Fusion application deployments and updates.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical production issues.
Required Skills:- In-depth knowledge of fundamental OCI services, including Compute, Storage (Block, Object, File), and Networking (VCNs, gateways).
- Expertise in deploying and managing containerized applications using Docker and Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
- A deep understanding of OCI's observability stack to collect and analyze metrics, logs, and traces.
- Experience with tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of OCI resources.
- Knowledge of Oracle database systems and other databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL for performance tuning and management.
- Expertise in OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM), Vault, and security services like Cloud Guard.
- Proficiency in coding/scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:- 8-10+ years of relevant experience.
