Full Job Description
Role Overview:

This role is for an Azure Administrator with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI). The position involves providing in-depth AI expertise to support Azure customers, deploying and maintaining Azure resources, and designing cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications, specifically leveraging Azure AI Services and Azure Open AI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-depth AI expertise to support the technical relationship with Azure customers, including product and solution briefings, creating demos, and proof-of-concept work.
  • Partner directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption of Azure AI Services (Cognitive services portfolio, Azure Open AI).
  • Deploy and maintain Azure resources and other cloud technologies.
  • Utilize PowerShell and Terraform for infrastructure management.
  • Implement and support Networking, Databases, Software, and Servers in the Cloud.
  • Design architecture for integrating core infrastructure technologies in support of enterprise applications.
  • Perform risk assessments of existing and new technology deployments.
  • Recommend, implement, and monitor security auditing and alerting solutions.
  • Monitor cloud and on-premise resources to verify integrity and availability.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues, escalate as appropriate, and offer solutions.
  • Collaborate with application development, network/security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration within the production environment.
  • Establish standards, tools, and processes to be used by the team and create procedures to guarantee adherence and compliance.
  • Develop, document, and understand internal IT processes and procedures.
  • Utilize automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues and communicate status and resolution to all impacted parties.
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on Azure AI.
  • Employ technical expertise in the design, implementation, testing, and ongoing support of the Data Lake cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop Network and Security best practices for Azure Data Platform, provide expertise in Azure infrastructure as code, and administer and maintain production platforms to meet SLAs.
  • Create CI/CD Pipelines for deployment.
  • Advise customers on incorporating AI accelerators into their overall cloud strategy by recommending migration paths, integration strategies, and application architecture that incorporate Azure Cognitive services / Azure Open AI.
  • Demonstrate how Azure AI is differentiated.
