ResponsibilitiesWe are currently seeking an OATS Functional Tester to work for our company.
Summary- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government PUBLIC TRUST / SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
- Provides software testing support, including manual OATS testing, integration testing, acceptance testing, regression testing, end-to-end testing, and related software quality assurance activities.
- Designs and executes IT software tests and evaluates results to ensure compliance with applicable requirements, standards, and regulations.
- Uses Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS) to support manual testing activities, test execution, defect identification, and validation of system functionality.
- Prepares test scripts, test cases, test scenarios, and all required test documentation.
- Designs and prepares test data needed to support OATS testing and other software testing activities.
- Analyzes internal security, access, and system functionality within applications.
- Reviews test results and evaluates system performance and functionality for conformance to design specifications, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.

- Must have hands-on manual testing experience using Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS).
- Must have strong technical knowledge of OATS, including the ability to navigate the tool, execute tests, support test documentation, analyze results, and troubleshoot testing issues.
- Must have experience preparing, executing, and maintaining OATS test cases, test scripts, test scenarios, and test data.
- Must have five (5) years of relevant software testing experience.
- Must have experience in computer software development and testing software applications, including system testing, regression testing, acceptance testing, end-to-end testing, performance testing, and automation testing.
- Must have experience with integration testing and acceptance testing.
- Must have experience reviewing test results, documenting defects, validating fixes, and confirming system functionality aligns with approved requirements.
- Must have experience developing and maintaining test cases using designated testing tools.
- Experience with test automation, including developing automated test scripts and frameworks, is strongly preferred.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Robot Framework, or similar tools is preferred.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority is required.
- Must have strong analytical, documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
