Network Engineer II at our corporate headquarters in
Dallas, Texas. The Network Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing enterprise network architecture. This role requires experience with Aruba, Cisco, SD-WAN and Azure technologies, and a deep understanding of network performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:- Implement enterprise network architecture, including routing, switching, and wireless LAN.
- Manage WAN connectivity, including SDWAN using Velo Cloud and VPN (i.e., IPSec & SSL).
- Perform IPv4 subnetting and manage dynamic routing protocols (i.e., BGP, EIGRP, OSPF).
- Configure, implement, and manage Aruba/Cisco routers and switches.
- Manage cloud network architecture (i.e., AWS or Azure), Azure is preferred.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Manage Aruba devices via Aruba Central portal
- Manage VeloCloud SD-WAN environment via portal
- Manage Palo Firewalls using Panorama
- Manage wireless controllers (i.e., Cisco, Aruba) and firewalls (i.e., Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto).
- Administer IDS/IPS (i.e., SNORT, Tipping Point, Cisco Firepower) and web filtering solutions.
- Implement network access control systems (i.e., Forescout, Fortinet, ClearPass) and cloud security platforms (i.e., Prisma, Zscaler, Menlo).
- Develop and maintain L2 and L3 networks.
- Use network monitoring tools (i.e., Nagios, Cacti, Zabbix, Manage Engine, SolarWinds).
- Ensure network security and manage system backups.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network errors, track issues, and compile incident reports.
- Respond to user requests and provide network training.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience with Aruba and/or Cisco technologies
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience with ClearPass and Aruba Wireless
- Experience with Cloud network Architecture (i.e, AWS or Azure) preferably Azure desirable
- Experience with Palo Firewall and Panorama desirable
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience with network access control systems (ClearPass or Cisco ISE) and cloud security platforms desirable.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience with using network monitoring tools, like SolarWinds.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex, multi-layered issues

Requirements:- 2+ year of experience in network engineering
- Experience with Aruba, Cisco, VeloCloud and Azure Networking
- Experience with Palo Firewall and Panorama
- Experience with Velo Cloud and Velo portal
- This role may occasionally travel to remote job sites or office locations on an as-needed basis along with industry conferences and training sessions.
