Reporting to the Mine Operations General Foreman, this position will be part of the team responsible for planning, organizing and directing the work of the Operations crew.
What You'll Do:- Plan, organize and direct the work of the operations crew
- Provide effective supervision to ensure assignments are completed in a safe and efficient manner
What You'll Bring:- Demonstrated leadership skills including strong team building and communication skill
- A valid underground supervisor's certificate or the ability to obtain a certificate
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- Preference will be given to candidates with previous underground supervisory experience
- A strong commitment to safety with working knowledge of OH&S, Mine and Environmental regulations
- Ability to handle a large and varied workload
