Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations - Data Architect

Associate Data Architect I

You Are:

The D365 F&O Data Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and optimizing the end-to-end data architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

The opportunity:
• Hybrid: In office/remote
• Data Architecture & Design
• Design end to end data architecture for D365 F&O, covering Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations modules.
• Define data models, canonical schemas, and enterprise data standards aligned with business processes.
• Data Integration & Platforms
• Architect data movement from D365 F&O using:
• Data Management Framework (DMF)
• BYOD
• Azure Data Lake (Export to Data Lake)
• Analytics & Reporting Enablement
• Enable enterprise reporting using Power BI, ensuring optimal data models and performance.
• Support KPI definition, semantic modeling, and reconciliation with F&O source data.
• Data Governance & Quality
• Define and enforce data governance, including:
• Data ownership
• Data definitions and lineage
• Master and reference data strategy
• Implement data quality controls, validation rules, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration & Leadership
• Work closely with F&O functional consultants, solution architects, data engineers, and business SMEs.
• Provide architectural guidance and reviews for F&O data related design decisions.

What you need
• 8-14 years overall IT experience
• 6+ years in Dynamics 365 F&O data architecture / analytics / integrations
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations data model and entities.
• Deep understanding of DMF, BYOD, and Export to Data Lake patterns.
• Strong SQL skills and experience handling large enterprise datasets.
• Experience designing data solutions on Azure (Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, SQL).
• Experience enabling analytics using Power BI (data modeling, performance optimization).
• Solid understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain business processes.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Hybrid- Washington

Compensation Range: $106,000-$159,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
