Job TitleShows & Events, Manager: Retail Brands & DEI Programs

Division: PPD

Location: 10 Hudson Yards

Reports To: Director, Shows and Events

What You Will Learn:

Serves as the lead manager, overseeing all event elements within budget and in alignment with brand objectives. Accountable for project management, negotiations, timelines, agendas, budgets, day-to-day operations, and the execution of assigned events. Collaborates closely with PPD brand teams, sales teams, and external vendors to maximize brand potential. Requires experience in event planning and tradeshow logistics.

  • Strategic Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Education, Marketing, Sales, and Production teams to align event strategies and execution with brand objectives.
  • Logistics & Show Management: Coordinate all logistics for meetings, trade shows, and distributor shows-including venues, room blocks, F&B, badges, artists, presenters, and activities.
  • RFPs & Contracting: Issue and review RFPs via the MEET system, negotiate vendor and venue contracts, and provide budget- and brand-aligned recommendations to management.
  • Exhibitor Operations & Merchandising: Oversee exhibitor manual orders, show P&Ls, planograms, fixtures, and merchandising elements.
  • Collateral & Asset Coordination: Coordinate graphics, collateral briefings, and product orders for all events, while managing brand storage properties and biannual warehouse audits in partnership with the warehouse team.
  • Financial & Administrative Management: Manage purchase orders, invoices, vendor bill reconciliations, charge audits, billbacks, and bimonthly CMC reconciliations with Finance. Handle administrative setups, including Salesforce Event IDs and Kelly OCG vendor approvals.
  • Travel & Onsite Execution: Oversee programs of varying sizes, requiring hands-on onsite execution and monthly travel.
  • Warehouse Management: Develop and maintain relationships with warehouse team, manage the logistics of all brand properties in the storage, including biannual audit.


What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree


  • 5-7 years experience in Event Planning and Trade Show Execution.


  • Onsite execution is required, therefore monthly travel is necessary, approx. twice a month


  • This role will require long periods of standing, lifting boxes, and light assembly labor


Preferred Qualifications:

Previous shows and events experience.

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

Salary Range: 100,000 - 140,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
