The RoleWe're recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer to drive electrical systems manufacturing excellence across the production of the Critical Loops product lines. What You Will Do- Responsible for the build and inspection process for the electrical assemblies and systems integration across the Critical Loop product lines
- Develop, qualify, and refine manufacturing processes and subsequent work instructions to meet all design and business requirements, including safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery
- Collaborate with other engineers, subject matter experts, and technicians to solve both internal and customer production challenges
- Work with product engineering team to evaluate designs for manufacturability and implementation in a rapidly evolving production environment
- Resolve product non-conformances and collaborate with the quality team to implement root cause corrective actions
- Identify, plan, and execute capital equipment, machine, and layout upgrades to meet our growing production demand
- Develop and refine floor layouts, capacity models, and product flow analysis to ensure on-time product delivery to our customers
Must-Haves- Bachelor's degree in electrical, manufacturing, aerospace, materials or industrial engineering
- 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or production
Nice-to-Haves- Experience with the build, assembly, or integration of low and high voltage assemblies
- Knowledge of harness and electrical systems manufacturing techniques, processes, and equipment including wire processing and prep, termination, assembly and routing, and test verification.
- Electrical component and/or tooling design and analysis experience using 3D CAD software
- Experience with design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA)
- Experience transition complex products from R&D to high-volume manufacturing in a fast-paced environment
- Experience writing work instructions and procedures
