Title: Manager, Strategic Business Communications

The Manager, Strategic Business Communications serves as a communications business partner for Corporate Affairs and leads communications for Mars Snacking's Global Innovation Center (GIC). The role works closely with business leaders to develop and execute communication strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and alignment around key business priorities.

The role also supports the Strategic Business Communications (SBC) function by developing executive communications, enabling leadership forums, managing communication measurement and reporting, and driving communication processes and continuous improvement across the organization

  • 7+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, employee engagement, executive communications, or strategic communications.
  • Experience serving as a communications partner to business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, presentation development, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience developing communication strategies, plans, and campaigns.
  • Experience using communications metrics and analytics to measure effectiveness and drive improvement.


What will be your key responsibilities?

Corporate Affairs Communications Business Partner
  • Serve as a trusted communications partner to Corporate Affairs leaders and teams.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies and plans aligned to business and functional priorities.
  • Provide communications counsel and support for organizational updates, initiatives, campaigns, and leadership communications.
  • Develop messaging and storytelling that reinforces strategy, purpose, culture, reputation, and business priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to increase associate understanding, engagement, and connection to Corporate Affairs initiatives.


Global Innovation Center (GIC) Communications
  • Lead communication planning and execution for Global Innovation Center locations.
  • Develop and implement site communication strategies that connect associates to enterprise priorities and local objectives.
  • Partner with site leadership to support engagement, culture, change, and organizational communications.
  • Manage key communication channels, communication calendars, and site engagement activities.
  • Support major site events, leadership visits, town halls, and associate engagement programs.


Strategic Business Communications (SBC) Enablement
  • Develop executive communications including presentations, scripts, talking points, FAQs, newsletters, articles, videos, and communication toolkits.
  • Support leadership forums, all-associate meetings, town halls, and enterprise communication programs.
  • Establish and maintain communication dashboards, KPIs, and reporting.
  • Analyze communication effectiveness and provide recommendations that improve engagement and business impact.
  • Support communications governance, planning processes, templates, standards, and ways of working.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that strengthen communication effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 108,160.00 - USD 148,720.00
