Position: Manager, Digital Strategy & Performance / Digital Product & Experiences

Purpose of Job

As Manager, Digital Strategy & Performance at Tangerine, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our digital products, customer experiences, and platforms. You will support the Senior Manager, Digital Strategy & Performance in developing and implementing digital strategies that align with broader business goals, with a focus on driving client acquisition, digital adoption, mobile engagement, client experience, operational efficiency, and revenue growth. This role is responsible for understanding the competitive landscape, identifying behavioural and performance trends across digital journeys, and tracking progress against key performance indicators. You will help uncover opportunities to improve digital engagement, deepen client relationships, increase adoption of digital capabilities, and deliver meaningful customer and business value.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
  • Monitor and analyze digital/mobile adoption and client engagement trends across frontbook and backbook client segments to identify opportunities for growth and re-engagement.
  • Provide strategy support for key DPX initiatives by conducting competitive research, performing deep-dive analysis and building impactful business cases.
  • Interlock with key partners across marketing, operations, analytics and client solutions to improve data feedback loop for insights-driven decision making and roadmap prioritizations.
  • Create a 360 view of a digital client by leveraging quantitative (EDW and GA) and qualitative (customer feedback) to uncover key insights across all customer touchpoints. Proactively identify growth opportunities and work with key partners to enable or optimize digital journeys.
  • Translate performance insights into actionable recommendations that support roadmap prioritization, campaign targeting, journey optimization, and executive decision-making.
  • Build data pipelines and create high-priority dashboards and reports to monitor key DPX OKRs and performance indicators.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly OKR reporting for enterprise business reviews and planning sessions.
  • Help elevate data literacy and insights-driven mindsets across DPX and key stakeholder groups.

  • Previous exposure to the banking industry/financial services is preferred
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies
  • Basic knowledge of Tangerine systems and processes
  • Action oriented, analytical problem-solving skillset
  • Strong data-driven approach, utilizing key metrics and evidence in decision making
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational sense and effective time and priority management
  • Eager to learn and demonstrate a growth-mindset
  • Ability to define, monitor, and interpret adoption and engagement KPIs, including digital/mobile adoption, active usage, funnel conversion, feature engagement, client segmentation, and product depth metrics.
  • Expert knowledge of Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics. Sound understanding of digital data collection and implementation process.
  • Expert knowledge of Google BigQuery
  • Expert with SQL, ability to analyze multiple large datasets.
  • Highly experienced with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI and DOMO.
  • Project delivery skills, with proven abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
