Full Job Description
Position: Manager III, Facilities - AMZ23897.3

Location: Arlington, VA

Multiple Positions Available:
• Leading maintenance and engineering launch operations for Amazon's first next-generation Fulfillment Center in North America, directing comprehensive maintenance and automation systems implementation.
• Managing multi-disciplinary teams to establish facility-wide maintenance standards and protocols.
• Developing and implementing network-wide maintenance processes including first applications of new commissioning and qualification procedures.
• Spearheading innovative solutions including AI-powered tools for maintenance qualification processes adopted across Amazon's network.
• Responsible for end-to-end maintenance project execution, including pillar structuring, equipment validation, and team leadership.
• Overseeing critical infrastructure improvements including design validations and change request implementations for enhanced operational efficiency.
• Establishing new generation standards based on successful implementations for future Amazon FC launches network-wide.
• Managing comprehensive documentation and training strategies for new generation FC building equipment.
• Leading cross-functional collaboration to optimize FC design and operations while ensuring alignment with new standards and requirements.
• Providing strategic leadership in complex problem-solving and decision-making, while mentoring other managers in launch operations and maintenance management.

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $123300 - $166800)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Must have 1 year of experience in the following skills:
• Experience with budget management, long-range facility planning, and capital project management.
• Experience in a similar multi-site corporate, manufacturing, or commercial environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience developing and implementing comprehensive preventative maintenance programs.
• Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.

The pay range for this position in Arlington, VA is $123300 - $166800 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
