POSITON SUMMARY:
The EAM Analytics and Data Manager is responsible for coordinating, planning, and managing all data and data visualization projects uploaded into the EAM system. The incumbent will lead a team of analysts to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data that supports business needs across the organization. They will develop techniques and processes to improve reporting, data collection, validation, visualization and utilization. In addition, the EAM Analytics & Data Manager will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues, as well as maintaining ongoing data quality and system reliability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop reporting on EAM assets
- Analyze, visualize and digest data in the EAM system, to assist senior management with data-driven decision-making.
- Lead all data visualization projects across all EAM divisions
- Develop data-driven strategies to guide the prioritization of EAM Projects, including statistical and data visualization tools to facilitate analysis of priorities.
- Interpret and present a wide variety of data to understand and represent decision-making needs of the various NYCT divisions. Present findings of various analyses to EAM senior management, Divisional Managers, and field management in an accurate, understandable and timely manner.
- Uploading and maintaining and managing the data to be mirrored out of the EAM system.
- Managing, training and developing a team of data analysts to do the same.
- Partnering with management and functional teams to ensure proper prioritization of major projects.
- Partnering with various divisions on a variety of business solution reports.
- Troubleshooting and maintaining reports and data-related problems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, including or supplemented by 24 semester credits in computer science or a related computer field and two years of satisfactory full-time computer software experience in computer systems development and analysis, applications programming, database administration, systems programming, data communications, including one year in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on a complex project; or
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and six years of satisfactory full-time computer software experience as described in "1" above, including one year in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on a complex project; or
Education and/or experience equivalent to "1" or "2" above. College education may be substituted for up to two years of the required experience in "2" above on the basis that 60 semester credits from an accredited college is equated to one year of experience. A master's degree in computer science or a related computer field may be substituted for one year of the required experience in "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and at least one year of satisfactory full-time experience in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on a complex project.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in the data field.
- Experience in SQL, Python, and web applications.
- Managing data transformation and analysis.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite

Final salary is determined experience, skillset, and alignment with compensation practices. The posted range reflects expected compensation and may be updated as market or business needs evolve.
