Job Title: Manager - Designer (Kiehl's)

What You Will Learn:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mid-Level Graphic Designer to support the development and execution of creative concepts across digital, social, and integrated marketing campaigns. This role partners closely with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams to transform creative direction into compelling visual assets, ensuring work is executed efficiently, consistently, and to the highest production standards.

The ideal candidate is a strong visual communicator with excellent design fundamentals, experience creating content for multiple media channels, and a passion for organization, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. They are comfortable working across static and video, motion graphics assets and have basic knowledge of and desire to leverage and expand emerging generative AI tools to enhance creative, creative workflows and ideation.

Key Responsibilities

  • DESIGN BASED-Support and work on design ideation through final delivery while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Assist in developing creative design ideas into polished visual solutions while maintaining brand consistency and design excellence. Do this through supporting design development, proposing different visual ideas, visual execution, and production and finishing of a wide range of asset types. Stay up to date, on current and forward-thinking design types, formats, and visuals in the graphics space.
  • ASSET BASED-Collaborate with marketing, content, production, and cross-functional teams to ensure creative assets support campaign objectives, messaging, and audience needs. Contribute creative solutions that balance strong visual storytelling with business objectives. Partner with the Creative Director on concept exploration, visual references, mood boards, presentation materials, and shot list development. Stay up to date on current and forward thinking asset + content types, formats, and visuals in the visual space.
  • PRODUCTION BASED-Prepare production-ready assets with optimal specifications for digital, social, web, video, print, and other marketing touch-points. Ensure final deliverables meet quality, accessibility, and technical standards across all channels. Maintain organized project files, asset libraries, and design documentation to support efficient production workflows.


What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional graphic design experience in an agency, in-house brand creative team, or comparable environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in branding, campaign development, digital design, and visual storytelling.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and Figma. After Effects and Premiere a plus.
  • Strong retouching and image compositing skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience designing across digital platforms and expressions including-social media platforms, digital marketing, paid media, site, email, and other omni-channel campaigns.
  • Understanding of design considerations across both static and motion-based content.
  • Familiarity with production workflows for photography, video, and content creation.
  • Experience using generative AI tools (such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support concept development, image generation, creative exploration, asset ideation, and workflow efficiency while maintaining brand quality and creative integrity.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to build personal timelines and manage multiple projects, maintain trackers, deadlines, and evolving priorities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Motion graphics, animation, or video editing experience
  • Knowledge of current social media trends, platform best practices, and evolving content formats.
  • Experience working within brand systems and integrated marketing campaigns.
