Job DescriptionThe IHI Cardiac Service Line (CSL) Clinical Manager is an active member of the IHI CSL Leadership team. The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for the clinical and operational management of the patient care area to promote the delivery of the highest quality of care and service. The Clinical Nurse Manager has authority and accountability for patient care processes, clinical skill development, clinical outcomes, and customer and employee satisfaction. He/she is responsible for all clinical matters (staff supervision/process and work flows/policies and procedures) for the IHI Cardiology Clinic and Outreach sites, IHI Device Clinic, IHI Hospital Nurses, SPH Anticoagulation Clinic and SPH Cardiovascular Lab.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Upon hire: Montana Registered Nurse License
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 3 years of Nursing experience in the specialty of the unit (Cardiac, ICU, Neuro/ortho, L&D, Med/Surg, Peds, etc.).
- 1 year of experience in a leadership role.
- 1 year must have a good understanding of quality outcome measures specific to clinical Unit and be able to apply indicators and quality outcomes to drive bedside practice.
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Upon hire: Provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- 3 years of In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular nursing experience.
