Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, and FIS Core Banking Systems. The role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting core banking applications, troubleshooting production issues, and leading technical activities throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of working effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL solutions following SDLC methodologies.
• Utilize expertise in FIS Core Banking Systems to support system management and application functionality.
• Work with FIS Core Banking modules including RM, GN, IM, AM, and SC.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application incidents and technical problems.
• Analyze production issues and implement appropriate solutions using a proactive ownership approach.
• Direct and oversee technical teams throughout project lifecycles as required.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Adapt priorities quickly based on changing business needs.
• Present technical findings, analyses, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Support application maintenance, enhancements, and ongoing system stability.
Required Qualifications:
• 12-15 years of relevant mainframe development experience.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, DB2, CICS, and JCL.
• Extensive experience with FIS Core Banking Systems, including RM, GN, IM, AM, and SC.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in mainframe environments.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
• Strong collaboration skills with technical and business stakeholders.
• Clear and concise communication and presentation skills.
