Full Job Description
Ignite Digital is seeking an experienced Acquisition Logistician to support a US Navy/US Marine Corps program office within the National Capital Region. The role provides comprehensive Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) in accordance with DoW and DoN acquisition policies and may serve as the Lead Logistician for program logistics planning, execution, and sustainment. The Logistician will directly support system acquisition efforts, ensuring all logistics requirements, products, and deliverables align with regulatory guidance and program objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Provide ILS services in accordance with DoW regulations and policy, including DoDI 5000.02 and DoDI 5000.75. - Coordinate and monitor all assigned acquisition logistics and sustainment functions across the program lifecycle. - Participate in analysis and evaluation of technical proposals, providing logistics insight to acquisition strategy development. - Support program reviews, working groups, team events, and acquisition milestone activities. - Identify and propose acquisition logistics thresholds, objectives, and Milestone Decision Review exit criteria. - Participate in all system acquisition phases and Milestone Decision Reviews as appropriate. - Monitor the development and delivery of all acquisition logistics products and deliverables, ensuring timely readiness for deployment. - Support and participate in configuration management (CM) processes to ensure ILS requirements are fully incorporated. - Coordinate with stakeholders and responsible organizations to track corrective actions, ensuring closure and compliance. Required Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Logistics Management, or a related field. - In lieu of a Bachelor's degree; High School Diploma plus 13 years of relevant experience. - Minimum 6 years of relevant experience as a logistics manager. - At least 4 years of experience supporting Navy programs in a logistics management role. - Demonstrated knowledge of DoW acquisition processes, logistics planning, sustainment strategies, and lifecycle product development. - Active DoW Secret Clearance. - Ability to work onsite within the National Capital Region. - Strong communication skills and ability to interface with government logistics, engineering, sustainment, and acquisition stakeholders. - Experience supporting logistics activities for Navy enterprise programs is highly desirable. Salary: $125k+ to align with education and experience.
