Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end product development lifecycles (concept to launch and iteration) for consumer-facing digital media products to improve the content ecosystem and limit the distribution of negative content. Understand the needs and pain points of creators and end-user consumers, to develop business and project plans that enhance the platform and provide media content suitable for a broad audience. Translate market research, user feedback, business objectives, and competitive analysis into clear product roadmaps, priorities, and detailed requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional and regional stakeholders, including Engineering, Design, Data Science, Operations, Policy, and Legal, to secure buy-in, align resources, and resolve conflicting priorities. Monitor, measure, analyze, and leverage metrics to rapidly iterate features, validate optimizations and drive data-informed strategy decisions that continuously improve the user experience. Mentor junior-level team members.
Qualifications
Qualifications Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Management, Analytics, Journalism, Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Management, Analytics, Journalism, Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Copyright platform industry; Product management experience building creator features or managing creator programs; Planning and facilitating user interviews, usability research, usability tests, and A/B tests to validate content decisions; Building and managing user feedback loop, including triaging, quantifying, and prioritizing user pain points, usability issues, and feature requests; Utilizing Product Opportunity Evaluation Matrix and Customer Journey Map to analyze customer requirements; and Interfacing directly with business leaders and stakeholders to present product or project documents, including strategy, timeline, and status documents. The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $210000 - $414000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
