Job Description
KUOW has an outstanding opportunity for an IT Systems Manager to join their team.Reporting to the Director, Digital Product, Audience, and Revenue Technology, the IT Systems Manager is responsible for shaping KUOW’s operational technical landscape. The role bridges technical systems support with strategic departmental leadership, managing everything from network administration to end user support. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional with demonstrated interest and/or experience in AI for nonprofits and mission-driven work.
Core to this, the Manager will identify and document a strategic and tactical plan to address various KUOW teams’ business needs and lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of scalable technology solutions that meet the needs of both KUOW staff and the listening public. The Manager is responsible for many systems, including KUOW’s office and productivity suite, broadcast technology, audio live streaming, studio and workstation audio and video systems, network architecture, security management, backup systems, audio and video archiving, and AI administration/governance.
The IT Systems Manager manages a team of two IT Systems Technicians and an annual budget of $500,000.
