Position Introduction/Key Duties
Watring is seeking an
IT Specialist to help provide support at our Huntsville, AL office. This position is 100% onsite.
Key Duties:- Administration of both unclassified and classified networks.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and printer issues for internal staff.
- System Maintenance: Install software updates, perform routine system checks, run backups, and manage user accounts and passwords.
- Network Administration: Monitor Local Area Networks (LAN) to minimize downtime.
- Security Implementation: Apply security protocols, set up firewalls, and protect sensitive company data against cyber threats.
- Hardware & Software Setup: Configure new laptops, desktops, servers, and standard workplace applications.
Required/Desired Skills, Experience, and Education
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Must have an active Secret security clearance.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience managing networks in both unclassified and classified environments.
- Ability to manage CAD and No Magic Cameo licenses and installations.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Associates degree.
Desired Skills, Experience, Education:- Bachelors degree.
- Information System Security Officer (ISSO) experience.
