Job Description
The IT Change Management Analyst will support change management strategy, communications, stakeholder engagement, training, and adoption efforts across a broad portfolio of IT initiatives, including enterprise platforms, digital transformation programs, process reengineering efforts, and other strategic technology changes as they arise.
The IT Change Management Analyst will partner closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure changes are effectively planned, communicated, adopted, and sustained. The ideal candidate brings hands on experience applying industry recognized change management methodologies, developing comprehensive change strategies, and supporting complex, multi stakeholder environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Change Management Support & Planning
• Support the development, maintenance, and execution of Organizational Change Management strategies for IT initiatives, leveraging industry standard methodologies.
• Assist in creating and maintaining change management deliverables, including:
o Communications Plans
o Stakeholder Management Plans
o Training and Adoption Plans
• Help ensure change activities are aligned with initiative timelines and business objectives.
Stakeholder Management & Engagement
• Assist in developing and maintaining Stakeholder Registers for IT initiatives, including stakeholders across multiple leadership levels, functional roles, and experience profiles.
• Support stakeholder analysis to identify key groups, levels of influence, and engagement needs.
Change Impact, Readiness & Assessment
• Support change impact assessments by documenting how IT initiatives affect roles, processes, and ways of working.
• Assist in the design, administration, and analysis of Change Readiness Assessment surveys.
• Compile and summarize readiness findings, risks, and observations for review with senior change management resources and program leadership.
• Support organizational or operational maturity assessments by gathering data and helping document findings across key dimensions such as People, Process, Technology, Organization, Data, and Compliance.
Training Development & Enablement
• Develop, update, and maintain training materials including user guides, job aids, reference documentation, and course presentations to support IT solutions and process changes.
• Ensure training content is clear, role-based, and aligned with identified change impacts.
• Assist with planning and coordination of training delivery activities (e.g., instructor-led, virtual, self-paced).
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to support training deployment.
Communications & Messaging
• Draft and update targeted communications related to IT changes, including emails, intranet content, presentations, and awareness materials.
• Ensure communications are accurate, timely, and tailored to specific stakeholders.
• Assist in tracking communication activities and collecting feedback to support continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to the development and refinement of IT change management templates, tools, and best practices.
• Capture lessons learned and feedback from initiatives to help improve future change management efforts.
• Build foundational change management expertise through hands-on experience across multiple IT initiatives.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Bachelor's degree with five years supporting training, communications, or change management activities for technology related initiatives.
• Working knowledge of organizational change management principles and frameworks (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, or ACMP).
• Demonstrated ability to develop and update training materials and written communications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team based, matrixed IT environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and flexible.
• Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office 2016 Suite - Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Skype for Business, OneNote, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
• Capability to constantly operate a computer.
• Must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time.
