Job Purpose

As the Head of Executive Compensation, the incumbent will be a key leader to build Board and Compensation Committee meeting materials, lead annual proxy filings, design short and long-term incentive programs, develop executive compensation proposals, administrate the corporate aircraft governance, and support maintenance and implementation of global compensation programs.

Seeking candidates with leadership experience and a strategic and business-focused mindset necessary to deliver strategic solutions supporting executive employees and overarching business goals. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for maximizing performance and outcomes, experience managing and motivating a team of direct reports, and a track record of success delivering a broad variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop material filed in the Compensation Discussion & Analysis section of annual company proxy reports
  • Support Compensation Committee presentation materials
  • Lead compensation proposals and recommendations, including salary, bonus, long-term incentives, and other compensation components for executives and C-Suite leaders
  • Lead the development, design, and maintenance of variable executive compensation, including long-term incentive plans, stock grants, and vesting schedules
  • Collaborate with Regional Total Rewards leaders, functional and regional HR leaders, and global compensation teams to design, implement, and maintain proposals and policies
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership, and leaders in other global functions including Legal, Finance, Accounting, Sustainability, etc., to align strategies with overall business goals.
  • Experience working with a global network of HR peers and leaders
  • Partner with consultants and other vendors, as needed, to execute key projects and initiatives
  • Oversee global mobility and key movement assignments for executive employees to support business goals
  • Establish and executive the corporate aircraft governance policy and processes
  • Experience utilizing data and compensation analytics to assess the effectiveness of total compensation programs
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to provide thought leadership in program recommendations and ensure compliance with relevant requirements
  • Utilize continuous improvement processes to ensure solutions and outcomes are as impactful and engaging as possible
  • Utilize change management strategies to effectively communicate relevant programs and adjustments to internal stakeholders and employees


Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related technical field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in a Compensation & Benefits role, including executive compensation role; Candidate with following knowledge and skills will be considered with less than 10 years of experiences
    • Proficiency in US SEC requirements on proxy filing for Section 16 officers and other executive compensation regulations.
    • Proficiency in executive compensation regulations for countries outside of US, including Italy, UK, Brazil, India and China.
    • Proficiency in Compensation Committee support and Board Compensations.

  • Ability to collaborate with other HR functions and internal business and corporate functions.
  • Experience in understanding and translating the priorities of the business and integrating cross functional strategies to meet the needs of the business.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
  • Strong verbal/written communication abilities and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and confidentiality.
  • Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.


Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $153,375.00 - $235,175.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
