OVERVIEW

The Field Marketing Director for the Southeast Toyota account is the primary contact based in Atlanta for regional marketing and dealership consultation. This role requires substantial amounts of travel throughout the region to inform the Southeast Toyota dealers of the regional marketing plans, consult with the individual retailers on their marketing plans (online and offline) and educate the dealers on new and emerging technologies. This position requires a high level of self-motivation and innovative thinking. Successful Field Directors manage relationships at all levels, positively represent the agency and its vision to key stakeholders, inspire great work, and identify opportunities for moving the dealer, distributor and agency business forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Effectively communicate new ideas and emerging technology to the agency, client and dealers
  • Ensure the agency's work is a reflection of our integrated expertise and is executed to the highest level of quality
  • Ensure all initiatives support overall brand strategy for the dealerships; helps create and define a 360 marketing approach to be communicated through creative, media plans, etc. with little oversight
  • Foster and manage collaborative relationships, maintaining contact and building rapport with various departments, clients, partners and vendors
  • Anticipate and resolve internal team and client issues as they are identified and utilize the support of the leadership team as needed
  • Collaborate with agency team to develop and deliver effective presentations
  • Evaluate creative based on strategy/Client needs
  • Establish Client's confidence by knowing the objective and status of every Client related activity, even those that have been delegated
  • Set clear goals and expectations, deliver on promises, and maintain a commitment to doing the right thing for the agency and client at all times
  • Ability to organize complex information in a way that's digestible and impactful
  • Ability to think on your feet when presented with obstacles to initial plan
  • Understand and self-educate on various disciplines to provide thoughtful insight and analysis
  • Identify account growth opportunities
  • Become expert on clients' business and maintain strong knowledge of category and emerging trends and technology by staying three steps ahead.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5-8 years of regional and/or retail automotive marketing experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and workload while traveling 3-4 days per week
  • Proven experience with Google Analytics and ROI measurement
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing landscape
  • Functional knowledge of web analytics, attribution, and CRM
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in traditional and emerging channels to effectively educate the dealers
  • Ability to inspire confidence and growth in agency and client team members
  • Acts with welcome authority when appropriate and sets positive tone for the team
