About the Role
The Lead Field Marketer is responsible for driving demand with the company's named account model through strategic program development and execution of top-tier marketing experiences that create pipeline and drive alignment across revenue teams. This position supports the field in developing and managing field-based demand generation programs and event campaigns to build awareness, drive and nurture leads, and accelerate opportunities to close. The Lead Field Marketer collaborates closely with sales leaders, sales development representatives, product marketing, solution marketing, and campaign marketing teams to plan and execute, while working strategically with the company's plan owner to define and develop field marketing strategy.
Here's What You'll Do
- Collaborate with demand generation teams and sales leaders to develop regional marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals; proactively design, plan, and execute regional field marketing campaigns and events that generate high-quality leads and accelerate pipeline growth
- Plan, execute, and oversee a variety of world-class events including regional events, ancillary events, user forums, and executive roundtables and dinners; design and implement pre-event and post-event engagement strategies to maximize attendance, participation, and lead conversion
- Create targeted, high-impact account-based marketing (ABM) programs using multi-channel digital programs to engage target accounts and drive deal acceleration, including website personalization, gifting, and conversational email; identify target accounts and segments within Hyland's prospect audience and customer base to develop tailored marketing programs
- Interlock with regional and industry field sales leaders and work directly with account executives to ensure ongoing agreement on priorities; partner with cross-functional teams including campaign strategy, sales, product marketing, and solution marketing to ensure consistent messaging and maximize the impact of field marketing programs
- Develop and effectively manage the regional marketing budget, optimizing spending to maximize ROI and achieve KPIs; track and analyze program performance using key metrics, providing regular reporting and data-driven recommendations for program optimization
- Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other team members; operate as an innovative thought leader, contributing to department growth through knowledge sharing and coaching on current best practices and market trends

Role Essentials
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with five or more years in B2B marketing and three or more years of field marketing experience; proven record of putting customer experience at the forefront of campaign and program planning
- Successful record of enabling and partnering with sales to achieve revenue goals; experience creating and implementing successful marketing programs that engage new prospects, accounts, and customers leveraging a range of tactics and technologies within budget and on time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail-focused with strong cross-functional project management skills; exceptional planning, project, and agency management skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; strong business and technology acumen; ability to think creatively and bring innovative ideas to the table to support marketing efforts
- Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and business partners; strong collaboration and negotiation skills with the ability to influence without ownership, gaining support and trust across the organization to achieve agreed-upon business outcomes
