Position Description: The Application Development Senior Advisor is a full stack engineer who designs, develops, and integrates solutions to solve business and technical requirements across EDI applications. Candidate must be passionate about technology, writing code and solving problems; able to work both independently and in close partnership with cross functional teams and management; a motivated team member who enjoys learning and sharing knowledge.

Future Responsibilities
. Design, develop, and maintain high quality software
. Write clean, secure, efficient, and modular code
. Simplify and improve existing application code ensuring high unit test coverage
. Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks
. Collaborate with Product Owners, Quality Engineers, Scrum Masters, and Software Engineers on your team as well as external teams to deliver value to our customers
. Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry trends and standards
. Provide mentoring to junior engineers
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 7+ years of software development experience with a successful track record of production ready solutions
. Deep understanding of all things "database" schema design, optimization, scalability, etc.
. Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Teradata, MongoDB
. Experience with continuous integration and source code control such as GitLab, GitHub, TFS.
. Proficient in EDI applications: Edifecs v9.1, BizTalk 2016, SSIS, and their components
. Working knowledge of X12N transactions, HL7 messages, and FHIR
. WCF, Web Services, Java, C#, .NET framework, SQL/SSIS development related to EDI
. API Apps, API Management Portal
. Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (VSTFS)
. MS SQL Servers 2012, 2014, 2016
. System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), SCOM
Desired Skills:
. Experience working with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB
. Experience with Scrum/SAFe Agile Framework
. Experience with Jenkins
. Bachelor’s degree in computer science/software engineering or equivalent work experience
. 7+ years of software development experience with a successful track record of production ready solutions

To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 $156,700.00.
