Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Social Craft Excellence exists to drive innovation for our social practice and to make sure that innovation scales. The role drives capability ideation and Co-Development with its partners and decides which opportunities advance, then builds the enablement and training that turns a new capability into standard practice. It keeps social teams across the network informed, connected, and resourced, and is responsible for ensuring the capabilities being pursued ladder up to the practice's strategic areas of focus and current priorities. The work happens on the Social Craft Excellence team, in close partnership with the Sr. Director, with subject-matter experts across technical, data, product, and agency teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Co-Development

Drive capability ideation with a defined portfolio of platform partners, own the resulting pipeline, and decide where it goes.
  • Own the Co-Development pipeline for select social partners in the portfolio
  • Drive capability ideation with the platform partners in the portfolio across the forums where it happens, including working sessions, roadmap conversations, and ongoing day-to-day dialogue
  • Ensure the capabilities being pursued ladder up to Craft Excellence's strategic areas of focus and current priorities
  • Make the call on technical feasibility and business value, working with cross-functional agency teams to identify and bring in the right subject-matter experts, then partnering with them to pressure-test ideas and shape the solution
  • Own project proposals and scopes of work end to end for the portfolio, shaping the approach, defining success measures, and driving to agreement

Social Community

Keep social teams across the network informed, connected, and resourced, and decide what they need most.
  • Share partner updates, new capability announcements, and platform developments out to internal social teams
  • Connect social teams with the right resources, documentation, and experts
  • Build relationships with key social / agency leadership across the agencies, bringing in their insights to decide which resources get built and in what order
  • Collaborate with the Craft Excellence team on community programming, including town halls, spotlight sessions, and internal channel engagement
  • Shape how knowledge is captured, packaged, and shared across the practice
Best Practice Adoption, Enablement & Training

Decide where enablement effort goes, and build what gets capabilities adopted.
  • Define the enablement approach for capabilities in the portfolio, consistent with the practice's standards and priorities, and own the call on where enablement effort is prioritized
  • Set and hold the quality bar for all rollout materials
  • Develop enablement collateral for new capabilities: one-pagers, instruction guides, demo videos, playbooks, and best-practice guidance
  • Build and deliver training content and certification resources, from curriculum design through live and on-demand delivery
  • Serve as the senior subject-matter expert on training requests and technical questions from partners and internal teams
  • Own the adoption strategy for co-dev capabilities, including measurable targets and accountability for hitting them
  • Contribute to the standards, templates, and training architecture the practice reuses across the full platform set
  • Diagnose adoption barriers across agency teams and drive solutions to resolution

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Experience
  • 8-10 years in paid social advertising or social media marketing, including significant hands-on campaign execution across multiple platforms
  • Deep working knowledge of the major and emerging social platforms and their advertising products (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, LinkedIn, X, YouTube), including advanced capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience building training content and delivering it to working teams
  • Demonstrated ownership of a program, pipeline, or partner relationship end to end, including accountability for outcomes
  • Experience working closely with XFN teams (analytics, technical, data, or product SMEs) to translate their expertise into usable business output
  • Experience translating platform capabilities into business and partner value for senior stakeholders
Skills
  • Presence: credible and persuasive with senior partners and agency leadership audiences
  • Judgment: makes prioritization calls on incomplete information and defends the reasoning
  • Strategic alignment: connects individual partner opportunities to a broader practice agenda rather than pursuing them in isolation
  • Program management: sequences competing initiatives, keeps them moving to timeline, and documents the decisions behind them
  • Influence and collaboration: works as a core member of a small team, and mobilizes internal SMEs and agency stakeholders who do not report to the role
  • Enablement and training design: turns complex platform capability into clear, usable learning content for varied audiences
  • Attention to detail: consistently accurate, polished, and thorough across every deliverable
  • Written communication: clear, concise synthesis for senior internal and partner audiences

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Prior ownership of a platform partner relationship as a primary point of contact
  • Experience in a capability, enablement, or center-of-excellence function within a medium-to-large agency network or holding company
  • Exposure to AI-enabled marketing tooling and workflow automation
