Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a Director of Product to join our EZLynx Product team on a hybrid basis from Dallas or Salt Lake City. This is a rare opportunity to lead the transformation of a mature, market-leading SaaS product into an AI-powered platform while redefining how independent insurance agents rate, quote, and service personal lines business. We’re looking for a product leader who is as comfortable prototyping AI-powered features alongside engineers as they are presenting a three-year roadmap to the executive team. You understand how AI is reshaping the software development lifecycle (from AI-assisted coding and agentic development workflows to intelligent, autonomous product experiences for end users) and you’re ready to bring that lens to EZLynx.

To keep us headed in the right direction, we’re looking for people who understand winning is a team sport, who value and seek to learn from our team’s diverse experiences and backgrounds, who welcome a challenge and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for our customers, and who can, at any given time, step back to laugh and have some fun.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide product leadership for EZLynx’s Personal Lines (PL) Rating product, driving its evolution from a traditional SaaS platform to an AI-powered & agentic product.
  • Define and champion a vision and roadmap for strengthening the core product and embedding AI capabilities (including intelligent automation, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted user experiences) into core product surfaces.
  • Partner deeply with engineering teams that are leveraging AI coding tools, agentic development environments, and automated review workflows; understand how these practices accelerate delivery and shape what’s buildable.
  • Use AI tools and prototyping techniques yourself to explore, validate, and communicate product concepts - bridging the gap between vision and engineering execution.
  • Apply structured strategic thinking to complex problems and create executive‑ready presentations that clearly communicate insights, decisions, and recommendations.
  • Develop and monitor operational processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, risks, and obstacles for key initiatives.
  • Manage the product portfolio of initiatives, partnering with product managers to define and deliver meaningful business outcomes.
  • Ensure the product team channels the voice of the customer into market‑facing product decisions, establishing feedback loops and communication plans.
  • Provide leadership and make high‑level decisions to identify, prioritize, and address problems and opportunities across the portfolio.

We’re Excited to Learn More About You

 Your experience may include:

  • 10+ years’ experience leading teams that deliver highly successful and innovative SaaS products.
  • Proven success in taking products and ideas from inception to maturity, driving revenue and earnings growth.
  • Strong experience in complex, workflow‑heavy B2B SaaS, ideally within insurance or financial services.
  • Track record of understanding customer needs—both intuitively and through objective, data‑driven insights.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA preferred.
  • You must also be able to travel up to 15%.

You may have other skills or credentials, including:

  • Exceptional strategic problem‑solving skills with the ability to distill ambiguous or complex topics into clear narratives, supported by polished, executive‑level presentation materials.
  • Property & Casualty insurance knowledge; familiarity with agency operations and workflows. Understanding of ACORD standards, including policy/forms, AL3, and ACORD XML.
  • Ability to identify patterns through statistical analysis.
  • Experience with product analytics tooling (e.g., Pendo, Amplitude) and cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) for instrumentation and insight.
